Several times throughout the year the GHS Counselors go into the social studies classes of all grade levels 9-12 to work with students on information they need to know to help them transition from year to year and to help them with their post-secondary plans. The information counselors give students in these class visits can be found below.
Students are all registered with accounts through CaliforniaColleges.edu better known to our students as CCGI the California Guidance Initiative. CCGI is our platform for interest inventories, personality assessments, career searches, college searches, Financial Aid application access, CSU and UC application access, and much more. Each year, counselors use CCGI with students during the counseling class visits.
Parents can also register for a parent CCGI account and link it with their student's account. See below for more information
